DHG Announces Brian Burns and Bryan Campbell Receive The Virginia Society of CPAs Top 5 Under 35 Leadership Award

Richmond, VA, May 12, 2015 — Dixon Hughes Goodman “DHG”, one of the nation’s top 20 CPA and Advisory firms, announced this week that both Brian Burns and Bryan Campbell have received the Virginia Society of CPA’s (VSCPA) Top 5 Under 35 leadership award for 2015.  Brian Burns is a Senior Manager in DHG’s Richmond office who focuses on Forensic and Valuation Services.  Bryan Campbell is a Senior Manager in DHG’s Norfolk office who focuses on Assurance Services for clients in the government contracting, manufacturing and distribution and construction industries. 

The VSCPA’s Top 5 Under 35 awards annually recognizes 5 CPA young professionals around Virginia under the age of 35 that demonstrate notable professional achievements, outstanding community involvement, and dedication to the CPA profession.

Brian Burns leads DHG’s Central Virginia market in the valuation and forensic accounting practice, including financial investigations and litigation support services.   Brian has qualified and appeared as an expert witness in commercial and domestic matters and frequently conducts presentations on valuation and forensic accounting to professional organizations. He is the current president of the Richmond Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers and is a member of the AICPA Business Valuation Committee. 

Bryan Campbell is a leading business developer in DHG’s Hampton Roads market.  He helps clients’ businesses plan for unique challenges, develop and coordinate audit procedures specific for each client and manages assurance engagement teams.  He created and leads Innovate NVB, a collaborative initiative in DHG’s Norfolk office to foster creativity, community, enthusiasm, teamwork and innovative thinking.
