VCPAC Gives the Chamber Stronger, More Effective Voice The Virginia Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (VCPAC) supports candidates for Virginia state offices, with a particular focus on the General Assembly. The Virginia Chamber supports candidates of both parties who understand the vital role Virginia’s businesses play in the Commonwealth’s economic vitality and thus are committed to preserving Virginia’s strong business climate and Virginia’s prosperity.
While the Virginia Chamber enjoys a strong reputation with Virginia’s state legislators, our success is not guaranteed. We are challenged by groups advocating agendas hostile to business, jeopardizing Virginia’s strong economic climate.
To ensure the continued success of the Virginia Chamber’s lobbying efforts, it is essential that we maintain a well-funded, active PAC that is broadly supported by Chamber members. Use of PAC funds to attend political fundraisers provides us with one-on-one access to members of the General Assembly and opportunities to discuss issues that are important to Virginia’s businesses.
The Virginia Chamber PAC appreciates the support provided by the following individuals and companies in 2009:
Platinum Contributors ($2,000 and up)
Gold Contributors ($1,000 to $1,999) Smithfield Foods, Inc. Anthem John D. Tickle Froehling & Robertson, Inc.

Please consider making a contribution to the VCPAC. Our ability to make meaningful campaign contributions to pro-business legislators is critical. We urge you to consider carefully how the decisions made by the General Assembly can positively and negatively influence your business or industry and how your support of VCPAC can help to make a difference. There is no minimum contribution – any amount is welcome. Participation is purely voluntary.
Donations to the PAC should be made payable to the Virginia Chamber Political Action Committee. Because only state candidates will benefit, corporate and individual contributions are welcome. Local chambers of commerce and other business associations are welcome to contribute. Click here for a printable donation form. Political contributions are not deductible for income tax purposes.
