Newport News, VA (September 27, 2017) – Benjamin ‘Bo’ Garner, CPA, MBA, assurance manager and co-leader of not-for-profit services at PBMares, LLP has been named one of Inside Business: The Hampton Roads Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 for his business leadership, innovation and diverse community support.

Garner oversees not-for-profit, healthcare and contracting clients’ attest engagements and is a thought leader in the not-for-profit community. His passion for not-for-profits extends to his own volunteering with groups such as the Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA), Samaritan House and Ebenezer United Methodist just to name a few. Earlier this year, he graduated from the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce’s LEAD program and in 2016, was named one of the VSCPA’s Top 5 Under 35. Garner graduated from Randolph-Macon College with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business/Economics and from the College of William & Mary with a Master in Business Administration.
