The Virginia Chamber issued the following statement today regarding Virginia’s increase to No. 4 in CNBC’s 2018 Top States for Business list:

“We were pleased to see Virginia’s ranking improve again this year in CNBC’s Top States for Business list to No. 4 overall,” said Keith Martin, Executive Vice President of Public Policy and General Counsel for the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. “Blueprint Virginia 2025 recognizes a number of factors that are critical to our economic competitiveness, including the importance of a well-trained workforce and fostering a competitive pro-business climate. Today, CNBC also cited the proactive policies Virginia has implemented in these areas as reasons for our upgraded ranking. We look forward to continuing to work with our strategic partners, elected officials, and business leaders from around the Commonwealth to continue to implement the recommendations of Blueprint Virginia 2025 in order to make Virginia the No. 1 state for business once again.”
